	In my "pre-mom" days, I was never very interested in Indian clothes - would pick a pair of jeans over a salwar kameez, any day. Then along came my son and eveything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) changed. I wanted to dress him up in kurta pajamas, sherwanis, dhotis and lungis!! Unfortunately, I could never find good children's outfits in the U.S. They were generally overpriced with outdated designs. While the stores were overflowing with adult's garments, just one or two racks were devoted to children's fashions. So I had an idea!! And desiVastra.com was born.
